Aries: Tiger Iron
These past few years has been a time when people seek the spiritual and believe that the physical and emotional are somehow bad or limiting. That’s not true. In fact you can’t manifest if you are not well rooted in the physical. WIthout that anchor, you just don’t have enough energy to create. You may become this glowing spiritual being that has no power to make what they want. So Tiger Iron is here to help you get grounded again and to remind you, you are a spiritual being in a physical body for a reason.

Taurus: Malachite
Malachite is often considered a good fortune stone. That luck will come your way soon. Now if everything is great in life then yes, that luck is going to come. But if you happen to live in the real world, with the rest of us, then you probably suffer from regret and guilt. This is due to your behaving in a way you wish you hadn’t in the past. It is a failure to see the positive in your choices and the fact you do have choices. If you want to see the good fortune of malachite shine on you, start seeing and feeling the positive.

Gemini: Ruby
Ruby is a complex stone, mainly due to the fact that rubies come in all kinds of stones that mean very different things. In this case, we are talking about love. The kind of love that you may have felt was lost or at least was not as bright as it once was. Well that’s about to change as Ruby says, go for that passion and rekindle that love. You will see how quickly the bad memories fade and you remember the good times again. But as always, there is a catch… If YOU don’t act, none of this will matter. It is about you expressing your feelings, only then will you get what you want.

Cancer: Azurite
Azurite is a mental stone, many people meditate with it on their third eye. What Azurite is asking of you right now it to give it a task, to help you reach your goals. With Azurite as your partner, it is best to focus on what you want as if you have it already. Even if you think you are being rejected, don’t give it, because often what you will find is that Azurite has already mapped out a better outcome for you, you just have to trust it.

Leo: Amazonite
Life has a way of causing an imbalance in our system. If not treated, this can drain us of a lot of our vitality. You are in a position where you may have such experiences this month. Amazonite asks you to seek out that balance so you can get back to normal again. Find time to relax and recharge, that’s what will ensure a smooth month for you.

Virgo: Pyrite
Pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, and what a great name for this stone. Because the message it brings is that you are emotionally unbalanced and the reason is because of something someone said that they are trying to tell is gold but in fact is not. The real trick is, you have to really look at this. The person who opens up to you and tells you from their heart, as much as that might hurt to hear, is not the person who is doing this. It is the one who belittles you and tells you they only do it for your own good. The solution is to regain your emotional balance again. Go within and find yourself, it’s not outside of you.

Libra: Clear Quartz
Clear quartz has a reputation of being a very programmable crystal. With that in mind, this is a year for setting goals. Be realistic with your goals, so that you can easily attain them. Get a small clear quartz and program it with your goals and sit back and enjoy the benefits of seeing those goals become reality.

Scorpio: Aquamarine
We all have problems in life, what Aquamarine asks of you is to solve your problems with compassion, patience and understanding. The goal here is to help your level of maturity grow on the emotional side of things. Aquamarine helps you use your emotions as a sign of strength if you allow it.

Sagittarius: Turquoise
All is not well. You know this and so do those around you. The issue is that you don’t express yourself properly. By that I mean, you say one thing but show quite another. You may ask for peace but when others give it to you, you get upset that nobody is talking to you. What you need to do is learn to express your true feelings, the outcome will not be as bad as you think it will be. Turquoise can help you in this situation to express what you really need to say, stop hiding your emotions, people want to be with the real you, not the mask you put up.

Capricorn: Tiger’s Eye
Calm communications and a calm mind are what is called for this month. Want to get ahead, then remain calm. Stress is what tightens the brain up, causes you to stop thinking and when you stop thinking, you can’t come up with anything good to say. So remain calm and let the words just flow.

Aquarius: Amethyst
When one first journeys down the spiritual path with crystals, amethyst is by far that first stone people tend to take that journey with. Part of that journey is to look into your darker self, that side of you that you don’t often like to admit is there. We all like to play a certain role in life and that means hiding certain aspects of our personality. Amethyst is asking you to stop hiding from yourself, that if you really want to grow at anything, you have to accept the whole that is you.

Pisces: Wulfenite
This is a very intuitive guiding stone. By that I mean, the message it brings forth is to follow your gut. All too often we fall into the trap of listening to so called experts or authority figures on what is best for us. Wulfenite is asking you to trust your own soul’s judgment for what is best for you. Your job to listen to that judgment. It is not the loudest voice out there but it is the best voice for you to be listening to.

Sometimes it is Best to Not Care

I have been super busy these last few weeks. I am doing two jobs right now, I was promoted but they didn’t think about the product I manage and didn’t think that they actually still need me to run it. So I have two jobs, would be nice if they paid me two salaries but no. But I am placed in a very interesting position where I see a lot of the sausage making. But I was really learned to just not care about the drama.

My old job was front lines, getting in the weeds and fighting it out with our competitors. I like that kind of job; I like being in the field and doing cool things and inventing ideas. But those days are long gone. I started as a one-man show, just me and my idea for a product. Now I have 5 development teams and entourage that follows me around. I actually preferred it when it was just me. Now I can’t even go to the restroom alone!

My new role is what I call a staff officer position. So using a military analogy, I went from a front line officer, leading a team in direct combat, to now sitting in the rear with the senior officers and helping them to develop strategy. How I ended up there is that I told them the truth. Among the people who like me, I’m called the Idea Engine. Basically if you have a problem, I can find a solution for it. But as the team grew and structure grew, my ability to create new ideas was reduced because I was spending most of my time managing the team. But people wanted new ideas, big ideas like I had created. So I told them, I can’t do both well, I can either run the product or you will have to send me elsewhere to create new ideas. That’s what they did.

I kind of figured that much. So many people lust for my product because I created something that can fundamentally change the way the entire organization does business, that’s not my saying so, that’s the general perception. I just made what seemed like the answer to the problem. I wasn’t thinking about empire building, just solving the problem. But I saw early on the wolves and vultures circling me and knew I had to protect the product, thus the massive structure. Yesterday my program manager said that we have the hottest product in the entire company. I told him that just a few short months ago, I was getting the door slammed in my face because so many couldn’t see the value. He was shocked. Shocked because we have people constantly contacting us to join the team. But it is true, as recently as the start of the year, people couldn’t see the value, but shortly after the year started, I hit critical mass and just exploded with rapid and massive growth and I was able to scale that growth, which is the real trick. There were other teams working on just parts of what I solved and in months, I did what took them years to just figure out. I not only figured it out but created the working models too.

My product is now considered a heavy mass object; other projects are created to service my product and other teams include my product as a service they will use. This is where the new job comes in. I was fine in my job because frankly, I don’t have to work that hard. When I am launching a new feature, sure, that’s a 50 plus hour week but other than that, I can show up at 9am and leave at 5pm and still get all my work done, lets be honest, managing people isn’t that hard. It’s not like I’m doing the building myself anymore so it’s not that hard. So it was not that big of a challenge, I’ve had far tougher jobs in the past. But the drama around me is something else.

So now that it is official that I am being pulled away from my product, leadership is now circling me. Everyone wants the idea engine on their team. Nobody has asked me to make anything yet but the whole “secret” off the calendar meetings people are setting up with me is quite funny. At least I get out for lunch more as they don’t want to meet on the corporate campus. I use this as a way to try out all the local restaurants I never got to go to before.

My team found out last week, this week they approach me; they are worried what will happen. That actually surprised me, I didn’t think most of them would care if I left. They seem to just complain a lot about my rules and procedures, which tend to keep them from getting in trouble. I do feel a little sad about losing my product. As much as I try not to get emotional about a product, I built that product. It was my idea and I treat it like a work of art. It may be just code on a computer but there was an aspect of aesthetics and beauty that even a non-techies could appreciate. And the IT people saw the beauty and simplicity of that beauty. I almost want to sit and admire it before someone else is put in charge and will change it to fit their image.

But I am asked to make all the other products like mine now. So it is a promotion, instead of my product, I will have all of them. But instead of being the painter, I will be a director telling the painter what to paint. It’s not really the same.

But the drama is more, now I have people looking at me and saying “what will you invent now?” I don’t know. I don’t care. Because their mindset is far different from my own. I look at a problem and seek to create an elegant solution that should be intuitive and makes sense. They look at a problem and seek to find a way to attack an enemy or gain leverage over someone else. If that had been my mindset, I never would have put together such a product I did that has gotten me so much attention. The amusing part of this though, is that, they actually have put me in a position where I will probably just get poached by another company. Actually, those companies are already calling.

I think every experience has a lesson. For me, history repeats itself and I realize, there is something I have yet to learn. This situation I am in is actually quite normal for me. I get a new job, make something and then all of a sudden, they want more and they see to restrain me and keep me from leaving, which actually is what causes me to leave. They never seem to understand that it was when they ignored me and let me do what I do best, that’s how they got the winning idea they love so much. So it is happening again. New role, but the ropes are tighter. Will they be smart enough to remember what I was doing to create the idea? Or will they just expect me to sit in a golden cage and sing? The latter is going to make some other company very happy.

Anyway, that’s what’s going on in my world. I think the best thing to do is to stick to the plan and not get emotional about it, which would be the knee jerk reaction. The funny part is, this product really exposed itself to me, it wasn’t like I saw it right away. It was like putting a puzzle together and finding the clues along the way and then finally I was like, “oh, that’s what it is.” See for all the metrics, research and analysis I do, at the end of the day, it was an intuitive feel that allowed me to create the product. It just felt right. The research just helped with presenting. But again, if you really want to create like that, you have to have the right frame of mind. I wasn’t doing it for ego or leverage or power. I was truly seeking the best answer to the question with an innocent almost childlike curiosity. I have found that tends to work well in any situation. When I go in with a motive that isn’t so pure, things don’t work out so well. It also helped to be honest. In the politics of things, I didn’t play games I just kept it real. People didn’t always like what I said, but they could respect it.

So if you hear of me moving, you’ll know why. I actually look forward to it in some ways, I did enjoy creating my product, I haven’t had that kind of fun in a long time. I wouldn’t mind doing it again.

Aries: Ten of Swords
The end is a new beginning. And ending is coming and it is a rough ending for sure. There seems like nothing good to it at all. But it is finally over and with it, a new start can come. So even though everything looks bad and it is, the hope is that, something new can now come in and replace it.

Taurus: Nine of Swords
They say that worrying makes you old fast and in this cards case, that is true because this kind of worry will keep you up at night. You know the situation; worry that you can’t stop thinking about, it keeps you from sleeping at all. Don’t let it keep you up because you can deal with it, if you just stop letting it control you!

Gemini: The Moon
Such a tricky card. Tricky because it is about the devils we create at our conscious level and how those deal with what the subconscious tries to bring the surface. The moon is that focal point in the darkness we get drawn to but often what you should really be focusing on is what is in the darkness that the moon is helping to shine just enough light on to help you sort of make it out.

Cancer: Five of Swords
We all like to win, until we find out that winning was actually losing. The five of swords is a card of winning and losing through trickery and manipulation. You may find yourself winning and feeling good, but the losers may not be graceful losers and try to take action against you, watch out.

Leo: Three of Cups
The Rule of three is in play here. The past the present and the future come together to have some fun. For once, they do not conflict with each other; they in fact can complement each other. This is a card of good times, it can be that old friends come together and talk about the future, whatever the case, it will be nice and you won’t have any awkward situations to deal with.

Virgo: Queen of Pentacles
This queen is all about the nicer things in life. She can spot quality a mile a way. I see her as a 1930’s socialite, in a dress that just screams elegance. She looks confident yet looks out of the corner of her eye to make sure everyone is watching her, she does crave a bit of attention. Dance with this queen and you will be swept off your feet.

Libra: 4 of Pentacles
Four is about stability and pentacles being related to earth are also stability related. A penny saved is a penny earned and don’t spend more than you have. Stability is key this week. Focusing on the safe path may be boring but it is the path to keep you safe and that’s what you need right now.

Scorpio: Six of Swords
This is a card that represents leaving. You have had enough and know it’s time to get out and go somewhere else and you do that. But you are not alone, someone is providing you help. So when the help arrives, take it and go, you’ll be better off.

Sagittarius: 3 of Pentacles
What does it take to create a thing of beauty? Something you put your heart and soul into? Find out!

Capricorn: The Empress
The Empress is often associated with a motherly figure in many decks. But the image you should think about here is one of abundance. Like a mother creating life, it is not always easy, for the abundance she brings forth is abundance through birth and it can sometimes be painful. Don’t let the pain stop you, it is part of the creation process of abundance for you this week.

Aquarius: The Magician
In old readings, the magician was often seen as a trickster and someone who played with people. That may still be if you don’t take note. The magician is the master of magic and discipline and focus is needed to make his magic shine in your life this week. If you can focus and do so with discipline, then the magician a card for changing your world for the better.

Pisces: Two of Pentacles
Is perception the same as reality? Maybe but probably not. But the effort expected on finding is what you will do this week. It’s not a total loss or waste of time, if you get this right, you could actually make something amazing happen.

Changing Decks, the Steampunk Tarot Deck

Since I started doing the weekly tarotscopes, I have been using the same deck, the Mystic Dreamer deck. I have enjoyed this deck a lot and still do. I enjoy it because it is a nice balance for me, somewhat feminine and yet rich in details. Some call it a “dark” deck because it lacks nice uppy and cheery like cards like some other decks. It has many dark environments, but that’s ok, I kind of like those decks because they speak a language all their own.

I plan to still use the Mystic Dreamer deck because when it comes to relationship readings; it’s a very spot on deck! Rarely is it wrong, so I have found it to be a very reliable deck in terms of getting accurate readings from it. Nevertheless, I want try my latest deck, which just came out, the Steampunk tarot deck.

I just got this deck and the cards are amazing! I am a fan of the steampunk genre so I had to buy this deck even if just as an art collection piece. This deck appeals to me for it has many of the same elements that drew me to the Mystic Dreamer deck. Barbara Moore is a creator of both decks so that may be why.

The steampunk deck is another one of those so-called “dark” decks. The cards are so rich in color and the characters have such lively expressions, you cannot help but be drawn into the scene on the card. Dark in color for sure yet many cards have an element of mystery to them. The characters almost tease you into to looking closer to find the hidden message. I love that about a card because it makes me stop, think, and really focus in. In addition, the cards are so aesthetically pleasing; I really look forward to using them.

I hope you enjoy the new cards as much as I do. My work schedule is very busy but I will try to update the meanings based on the new deck and what the cards say in the deck.

Tarotscope for the week of April 21st

Aries: Knight of Wands
A man of action and passion is in store for you. Yes guys, it will be a guy. Someone who knows how to motivate and create ideas and then put them into action. The kind of person that people want to be around because he gets them excited about the future. This man is coming your way, so watch out for him, he may be just the person you need to meet.

Taurus: Knight of Pentacles
It is time to be you this week, don’t take big risks, just work steady and be that loner who works hard and doesn’t cut corners. The dull person who keeps to the plan and doesn’t waiver. The one who doesn’t go out clubbing this week but works extra hours to save more money for those big plans you have down the road. Yes, this is you this week, it’s the you that you wish to always be, well, now you get to be it this week.

Gemini: Queen of Wands
She is not the most stylish woman you’ve met, but she has the energy and drive you like. A strong leader, willing to try anything and always on the go, this person can walk into your life this week and if you are not careful, she may just keep on walking if you can’t keep up.

Cancer: King of Swords
A man is around you, he is smart, very smart, and uses his mind to advance his will. You don’t always feel he has feelings but he does. However he does not care for emotional outbursts and that’s something you do tend to do. You are going to have to learn to deal with this man because he will play a role in your future.

Leo: The Empress
The Empress reminds me of the organic foods restaurant owner I know. She always works with seasonal foods that are local. She works with nature and what nature creates, never forcing it or trying to use tools that create foods out of season. This card reminds us to work with nature and the natural flow of life to create what we want, that’s the theme you need to focus on this week.

Virgo: The Sun
It has been a cold winter where I live. Below 0F for most of January, December and February. People are walking around with layers of clothing, bulked up to try and stay warm. Everyone has that pale look from a lack of sunlight. But this week, something happened, the sun came out and it warmed up, the snow started to melt and the heavy coats came off. The sparkle returned to their eyes, and you could see people outside taking a walk and enjoying the warm sun. Happiness was here again!

Libra: 6 of Pentacles
Help is on the way, whatever is troubling you in life, the universe is working to help solve those problems for you. Just hang in there; help is coming to your side. It’s pretty simple card to understand, whatever it is you are facing, help can be there for you. And it also means, if someone approaches you for help, you will be in the position to help them too.

Scorpio: 5 of Swords
You may win the battle but it may not feel like much of a win. Examine your motives and goals in what you do, are you doing it for ego centric reason or for real value, only the latter will improve things for you.

Sagittarius: Death
When this card shows up in a reading, it often shows me that a person is clinging to the past for dear life and really nothing short of a death of the past is need for real growth to take place. That’s what this card means for you this week. We all cling to outdated beliefs from the past, it is time to let go of yours. If you will, imagine a young girl sitting with Death on a small island. This indicates that moving on can make you feel alone, it shows that the ending of this phase can be hard.

Capricorn: Ace of Cups
If you are single, a new relationship is on the way. If you are married or already in a relationship, expect the passions to heat up! This week is all about new, new ideas, projects, love, new starts, so get out there and enjoy! This is the card of pure love, if you allow it. Therein lies the trick, if you allow it.

Aquarius: The Magician
The elements of the minor arcana lay before you. Image a table with wands, swords, cups and pentacles before you. You have the ability to use them in anyway way you wish; to create whatever it is you desire! Seemingly, magical influences come into your life and invent solutions to your most pressing problems. You suddenly notice synchronicities that point to a deeper order of your life.

Pisces: King of Pentacles
You’ll meet a generous man this week but you won’t notice this if you are not paying attention. For he isn’t one to share his feelings and have them dripping all over the place for you to step in like Geraldo Rivera. He’s a kind man that isn’t one to express emotions outwardly but through his actions of generosity and kindness. But his coldness is what people look at and think about when they see him and often misread him as being cold and aloof. Don’t make that mistake, for he can be very helpful to you.

Aries: The World
Just like the world, this is a card of thinking big! Big things are to happen, either trips will take place or projects will be completed, either way, you will feel like big things are happening and you like those things too.

Taurus: Queen of Swords
The Tomboy who loves to talk, that’s who you have on your plate this week as a conversation partner. She likes to act tough and isn’t what you would call a role model for lady like behavior. Not my kind of person, someone who likes to talk a lot, but I think you’ll like her and she’s also a good listener for what you have to say too.

Gemini: 9 of Wands
This week my trainer at the gym had me do a new work out. I’ve been trying to improve my strength and she felt this new workout would be the thing. I am frustrated that I have not achieved my goal and this new workout was beating up really bad. I was exhausted and covered in sweat and feeling like I couldn’t go on. But I remembered how far I had come and that I needed to go on because I was almost there, I was so close, just a little bit more and I’d reach my goal. You to are tired and want this to end, it will soon, you are almost there, just a little bit longer.

Cancer: King of Wands
A man of action and passion is in store for you. Yes guys, it will be a guy. Someone who knows how to motivate and create ideas and then put them into action. The kind of person that people want to be around because he gets them excited about the future. This man is coming your way, so watch out for him, he may be just the person you need to meet.

Leo: The Star
Life has been rough, you’ve been burned pretty bad in the past. This card is asking you to let that go. Your senses are not as strong as they were so rely on the universe to help you regenerate and start a new path in life. This card is a great sign that now is the time to let go and start anew.

Virgo: Ace of Swords
Imagine a sword pushed into the ground with a crown on top of it. It glows in a dark landscape brining light where there is none. This represents clear thinking and a gift to you. It is the gift of knowledge to deal with any challenge that comes your way. Strength in adversity is the hallmark of this ace. Using willpower and courage to make it through what is before. Thinking and communicating differently should be on your mind as ways to get through what you must.

Libra: 2 of Wands
Green tea or herbal tea, that’s me at a cafe, I have two great option to choose from but I can’t decide. Green tea is healthy but the caffeine can keep you up. Or herbal tea but you never know what you get as a taste. You will have this kind of a choice this week, two very viable options to choose from but you must choose because to remain without a decision will cause problems. The best thing to do is to go with your feelings and intuition on making your choice.

Scorpio: Page of Cups
A woman sits at Starbucks with a Grande cup in her hands and a large smile on her face and a blue fancy fish in her cup. To the rest of us, she looks like some kind of weirdo. But for her, she is happy in her own little world and doesn’t care about everyone else’s opinion. Something new comes into your life. It most likely is something you’ve mulled over in the past and now it is finally here! Be happy, nice things are happening and be like the woman at Starbucks, don’t care what others think, enjoy your bliss.

Sagittarius: King of Cups
You know the type, they are the people that believe love is like a romance novel. Some metrosexual looking guy rides in on a white horse and swoops his maiden off her feet. This guy may come into your life ladies. Guys, you get the female version, which may not be so bad until you realize you are paying for the bill on this date and it’s not cheap!

Capricorn: Justice
The other night I was watching the anime, Dante’s Inferno, (not for kids). It isn’t like the book but more like the video game from last year. In the movie, Dante goes into hell to get his love Beatrice who has been murdered. While traveling through the 9 layers of hell, Dante faces many of his own sins, sins he did not consider as his own sins until he saw the wider ramifications of his actions and realized how what seemed like an innocent choice, proved to damn others to hell. Justice is about karma and this week, you are Dante, having to make wise choices and to live with the karma of those choices.

Aquarius: Chariot
A few weeks ago I had a trip to Prague. Along the way I had to drive for about 20 miles along a foggy road. I was going pretty fast which wasn’t the best since there were ice patches on the road and the car was not well suited for the ice road conditions I was facing that early morning. I had to focus with great intensity to keep the car from going off the road as the tires did not seem to want to grip the road very well. But I made it to my destination. You will face something similar this week, where you must focus and show mastery in order to achieve victory.

Pisces: The Devil
Not a card most people want to see. It represents a lot of stuff you don’t want to be told. It is the physical over the spiritual and that means that you face, if lucky an addiction or overindulgence. It could be something innocent like, eating too much or getting way too drunk on Saturday night. If it gets really bad, then your passions have run your life into the ground and you can’t even see it. So if you have to live out this card this week, try to just overindulge in some chocolate or something.

Happy Easter

I wish all of you who come to my blog and read my stuff, a happy Easter.

The world has a lot of drama going on these days. I hope the message of Easter helps people remember why we should look past most of it and really see the world as a fun and wonderful place.

As for me, I am spending my day catching up on my reading. I have 12 books waiting for me, I got through one this morning and hope to get through two more today.

And in case you were wondering, I did take my own advice and I did my juice detoxing, my co-workers did their best to try and get me to break, but I didn’t. I juice organic foods and I really do think they taste better and make you feel better. I was totally relaxed all week. Other than a strange craving for focaccia, I was fine. Infact I had great energy and lost some weight. I even inspired a few co-workers to give it a try. I went 10 days without eating solid food and people knew this and would bring donuts, cookies, chicken wings, nachos and eat them in front of me, thinking that will break me. But my will is stronger than food. Plus the health benefits were great. Normally I would have allergies this time of year, I have had no issues while jucing. That in itself is worth doing this longer!

Aries: The Fool
The Fool always reminds me of an idealistic college student. Full of all the kool-aid… I mean ideas they have gains in college. Logic has little to do with their way of thinking, nor does realism. They are full of ideas that sound so great on paper but not so much in practice. This is you this week. Will you chug beer, talk about saving the planet but come up with ideas that actually hurt it? My suggestion is to use your intuition this week, go with the flow.

Taurus: 4 of Swords
We all have problems and often we are told to roll up our sleeves and deal with them head on. Normally I would agree but not this week. The 4 of swords suggest you take a break and put your mind in a quiet place this week. Don’t think so much on what is wrong, just let it go, recharge and come back stronger another day.

Gemini: 8 of Wands
This is a week to think back to your time in school and playing dodge ball. Be ready for action. Things are going to move fast and you need to be ready to think fast and react just as fast. It’s a time where things move forward and you need to be ready to take advantage of the fast currents. If you do, things will be very positive for you. So just like in dodge ball, be quick and think fast!

Cancer: Knight of Cups
You know the type, they are the people that believe love is like a romance novel. Some metrosexual looking guy rides in on a white horse and swoops his maiden off her feet. This guy may come into your life ladies. Guys, you get the female version, which may not be so bad until you realize you are paying for the bill on this date and it’s not cheap!

Virgo: The Magician

The elements of the minor arcana lay before you. Image a table with wands, swords, cups and pentacles before you. You have the ability to use them in anyway way you wish; to create whatever it is you desire! Seemingly, magical influences come into your life and invent solutions to your most pressing problems. You suddenly notice synchronicities that point to a deeper order of your life.

Libra: 3 of Wands
You’ve reached a milestone and things can start to pay off. Focus on long-term plans. The focus is on money and overseas issues this week. Money and business.

Scorpio: 5 of Cups
It’s time to release the past, what’s gone is gone. Now is a good week to reflect on what you are holding on to from the past and how this is impact you now. You will find that letting it go will do you a lot of good.

Sagittarius: The Hanged Man
It’s time to change your thinking, per view on life. It’s a rather simple card, The hang man is upside down, not upset or stressed about it, but upside down and seeing things from a new view and going “ah, now I get it!” That has to be you, otherwise, you may find yourself having to give up something or someone you like.

Capricorn: Ace of Wands
For a while now, you have been struggling to get around an issue you’ve faced. Like a giant rock blocking your path, this problem has lingered. No more, A bright and shining rod has fallen from the skies and broken the rock in two, clearing your path. Take advantage of this opportunity, you have the chance to gain success, but you must act! If you do nothing, the rock will reform and you will be stuck again.

Aquarius: 6 of Swords
You know how it goes sometimes. Life can be rough! And you’ve faced those rough times. For some of you it was like being a boxing match like in Rocky with the Russian guy. Rocky’s friend was killed and Rocky was getting beaten badly. He was on the ropes but he fought back and won! You have too. The 6 of swords is a travel card, moving from rough times to smoother times. But it reminds you that you have to be like Rocky, face the issues, don’t hide from them, learn your lessons from them and move forward.

Pisces: 2 of Swords

Imagine two spinning blades in front of you. They are coming closer and if you don’t turn the switch off, they will slice you up. The horror!!!! You are afraid and fear grips you and you close your eyes as you try to pretend your situation away. That might be your reaction this week to something, but just do your thing, remain calm and think rational. Just tap the off switch and the spinning blades stop and you are safe.

Juice Fasting, the Best Way to Detox

For many of us, another round of holidays is coming up. And many will eat more than they should. So, for those of you who love the food, here is something you can do for yourself afterwards. It is a juice fasting detox.

Juice fasting is easy and good for you, if you follow a few rules. For starters, if you take medication, go easy, especially if you are loaded with toxins from smoking, drinking, processed foods or grains and soy.

Second, use organic whenever possible and if you can’t, peel the skin off of whatever you use.

Expect a detox slump, this is what happens when you have a good flushing out, you end up feeling like crap a few days in as the toxins are moving out.

Drink lots of water and lots of juice. You should drink 2 quarts of water at the very least, in dryer climates, as much as a gallon. And aim for 64 ounces of juice.

More vegetables than fruit. Most people think of fruits when you say the word juice, but in this case, it is mainly vegetables you want with fruit for taste.

With these tips in mind, try to go 10 days, make that your goal. For food lovers, like myself, do your best to not give in. Yes that one nacho is enough to kick you off. Your body will realize after a day that you are fasting and start to remove toxins, if you eat, it will think you have stopped. 10 days is a great way to start to see how things are.

Now for the recipes, there is the holy trinity of juice fasting that should be in every drink: parsley, cucumber and celery. These three are great at aiding your system to clear out, especially your liver and kidneys. Be sure these three are always in your drink.

Standard recipe:
5 leaves of kale
4 celery stalks
1 lemon
1 apple or 2 if small
handful of parsley
1 cucumber
piece of ginger
Optional
1/4 beet (great blood cleaner)
blackberries (vitamins)
Grapefruit (works with the lemon to remove fat from cells)
Cilantro (removes heavy metals, great for smokers)
Handful of sprouts (more vitamins and minerals)
Broccoli or cabbage (enzymes help the body heal)

Everyone has different tastes so experiment with what works for you. Drink the juice 4-6 times a day with plenty of water. The water should be filtered water as this helps to remove toxins from the body. Also, you don’t need a big machine to juice, even a crappy blender with a strainer over the container, will do the job.

Doing a juice fast every now and then will do great for the body. Anyone who lives in the modern world is exposed to toxins and these can build up in your body. A juice fast is a great way to remove these toxins. Just remember to have plenty of greens to your drink, that’s how you will get the nutrients you body needs. Also, you may feel energized one day and sluggish the next, that’s normal. So is weight loss, you can expect to average a pound a day of weight loss.

Enjoy the holidays knowing you have a good recipe to clean out later.
